How It Works

No special equipment is needed. You simply post the EZCollect notices at the point-of-sale and write your EZCheck ID number on the face of all checks before you deposit them. If a check is returned NSF, your bank will automatically forward the check to EZCheck to be placed in queue for electronic presentment. The checks that clear are then reimbursed to you at their FULL FACE VALUE.

In addition to NSF checks, you can also protect your business form returned checks that are not NSF. By taking advantage of this option, EZCheck will attempt to collect all returned checks. Checks collected under this supplemental program are reimbursed to the merchant at 65% of the face value.
